Student Ambassadors

Continuing a “People Helping” Tradition

Our Student Ambassadors are an important part of the Salon Success Academies family. These outstanding students help us with new student orientations, charity events and fundraising, and other school projects.

The Student Ambassador Responsible Leadership program is designed to help current beauty school students become leaders in their school and in the community, helping them build the skills that will serve them as they begin their new beauty careers. Students from all five Salon Success Academies campuses apply to become Student Ambassadors and are chosen based on specific criteria and interviews. The Ambassadors change on a regular basis, as older students graduate and new students begin classes.

Here are some of our current student ambassadors:

Meranda S.
Meranda had a hard time deciding what to pursue after high school, but after talking to a close family friend who is a hairdresser, she decided to join the beauty industry. She loves that the industry is a lot of fun, and offers many opportunities for entrepreneurs. Salon Success Academies was the perfect choice for her.
The Student Ambassador program is one of her favorite things about Salon Success Academies. She has had the opportunity to learn new skills, and work with teachers who are honestly excited to be helping students reach their goals. After graduation, she plans to move to Newport Beach and work and learn at the Toni and Guy Salon. She also plans on going back to school and earning a business degree. Meranda hopes to someday open her own chain of hair and tanning salons.

Melissa S.
Melissa has always wanted to work on hair, and found her true calling when she enrolled at Salon Success Academies. She loves customer interaction, and says that working on the floor and providing services to clients is her favorite part of school.
She is not sure what she would like to do after graduation, but does know that she loves the bueaty industry! Melissa has been inspired by many people around her and their constant support is what makes her strive to become a great hairstylist!

 

 

Vanessa F.
Vanessa joined the Salon Success Academies family after she was tired of hunting for jobs she didn’t love. She decided to make a change for both herself and her family, and pursued her love of hair and makeup by joining the beauty industry. She didn’t know many famous beauty professionals when she started, but now she admires Tabetha Coffey for her knowledge, her strength, and her charisma.
While attending Salon Success, Vanessa has discovered a lot about herself and the industry. She credits this personal growth to the Student Ambassador program and her dedicated instructors. She is proud to be a part of this rewarding organization.
After graduation Vanessa hopes to work with other hair stylists and makeup artists to provide services for weddings and quinceaneras. She also hopes to one day open her own salon.

Bliss G. – San Bernardino
Bliss has found her true calling in the beauty industry. She began attending Salon Success Academies because she wanted to help people feel more beautiful. She loves helping boost her clients’ self confidence and seeing their faces light up when she has completed a new hairstyle or makeover. While there is no one person who inspires Bliss in the beauty industry, she loves learning from every person she meets, and feels that every new connection is an opportunity. Bliss began attending Salon Success Academies because of the high quality facilities and education, but loves the school for its energy, and the way faculty and staff treat each student like family. According to her, when you enroll at Salon Success, it’s not just for your 1600 hours, it’s for a lifetime!
