On December 19, 2009 Salon Success Academies will be hosting a holiday party for families in need in the Inland Empire area.

Upland, CA (PRWeb) December 7, 2009 – On December 19, 2009, Salon Success Academies, a beauty school with five campuses throughout the Inland Empire, will holding a holiday party for families from the Foothill Family Shelter, Mercy House, and Pacific Lifeline.

As a part of Salon Success Academies "All About Family" holiday drive, the families will be receiving complimentary salon services, including haircuts, manicures, and makeup application. Once these makeovers are complete, each family will also have the opportunity to take a professional family portrait to hang in their new homes. For over 50 children, this holiday party will also be a chance to visit with Santa Claus and receive some special gifts.

These families are part of a United Way program that will transition them out of shelters and into their own homes. They will receive help with job interviews, budgeting skills, and more as part of this two year program.

To help Salon Success Academies raise money for this great holiday celebration, visit any of the five campuses on Saturday, December 12, 2009 for a fabulous beauty service. Half of all beauty salon services revenue from that day will go towards the purchase of toys and gifts for the children attending the party.
